Our Men's Ministry is more than just a men's group - it's about activating the men of Springfield Christian Family into fellowship, leadership and service.
We want to keep our men real, strong and connected. Real men know who they are and what they believe. They love God, church and family, and their spirituality is natural to them. Strength is found through the building of faith, character, relationships, family, and work ethic. Connection comes through building solid friendships and having a role in church life. Put simply, it's about not doing life alone.
As well as regular meetings, men's breakfasts and social activities, there are a number of major events in the Men's Ministry calendar.
There are many different ways that you can be involved in the Men's Ministry, such as getting involved with a Connect Group or serving in areas such as car parking, bus driving, ushering, audiovisual, kids' church or youth ministry.
The church functions better when the men serve and worship passionately, so come on, let's get involved!
Project: Menaims to connect men in the church and the community with one another and with Jesus Christ. Each year, through various events, courses, weekend retreats, social activities and small groups, we focus on the world of men. Our men’s breakfasts have become a great way to touch on areas relevant to all men in an atmosphere of good food and friendship.
Authentic Manhood and Valiant Man are courses aimed to grow men in both their work and home lives. Fishing trips, Tool and Home shows, Movies, Xbox nights, when we just want to hang out with one another. Weekly Life groups around God’s word feed into the spirit of a man. We believe every man has an amazing purpose and potential to make a difference in this world.
